Quick and Easy Paper Strip Pumpkin

Fall is all about Pumpkins, right? Here is a great little project to decorate your table, desk, counter, anywhere.  Have fun with different colors and patterns of cardstock.  I bet you have everything you need right there in your craft space.

Supplies needed;

2 6"x 6" sheets of cardstock cut into 12 1"x 6" strips, Green cardstock for leaves by either punches, die cuts, or just draw and cut out by hand( 3 leaves per pumpkin). 1/8" hole punch, 2 brads ( any color). Approximately 12" piece of twine for bow. 20 gauge bead wire in green, and...

  • cut your strips
  • punch holes in both ends of the strips
  • attach brads into the holes, secure down
  • curve the strips with bone folder or fingers
  • separate each strip to form a ball, can get a little tight, be sure to expose All strips
  • evenly space strips
  • Attach leaves with glue to top
  • wrap wire around an object such as a pencil, about 5-10x...cut off spool
  • uncoil "curly Q" a bit , tuck tail of wire underneath leaves
  • attach a bow made from the twine
There you have it!! Told you it was Easy. Have fun making lots and lots of these.
