For this months Color Challenge of pink, orange and brown,  I decided to use the beautiful  Hot Air Balloon die set from Darice. I made 3 different cards using 3 different techniques.
-This first one was done by dragging Versamark ink on the  embossed balloon then I sprinkled pink embossing powder all over it. Then heat set the powder.
Card #1 Supplies;
Kraft A2 Card base-for all
White 4" x 5 1/4" Card front -for all
Clouds embossing Folder by Love Nicole-for all
Art Glitter Glue - for all
Pink Embossing Powder by Recollections

- For the  next card I used distress inks and a blending tool to Ink the embossed pattern on the Balloon.
Card #2 Supplies;
Distress Inks- Spiced Marmalade kit #1
                      -Picked Rasberry kit #1
                      -Vintage Photo

-For the last card I used Nuvo Watercolor Pencils and a Nuvo Aqua Brush to create the pattern on the balloon.

Paper Pieced Snowman Card

We as crafters find inspiration all around us and often in strange places. This card was inspired by a Christmas Sweatshirt that I purchased at a Salvation Army. The shape of the snowmen on the shirt was the same as the Angel in the stamp set "Sweet Angel"  so.... the card was born!!! I had such a blast going thru my Maymay Made It stamp collection and finding elements to "Dress" these snow people to make them come alive!!
Supply List:
Souffle gel Pen - orange
Heat Tool
MFT - Stitched Snow Drifts Die Set
water brush, Vellum

After I put this card together I brushed on some Wink of Stella on the snowflakes, girls scarf, eyes, and the edges of the hills. You can't see it in the photos but it is sooo pretty in person and makes such a difference. Hope you try this out with your own stamp collection.
Thanks for watching - till next time,
